What's Happening in the Cloud?

 It’s pretty safe to say that the next big IT deal is going to be moving the workplace desktop into “the cloud”. It’s actually already well beyond concept and has been in the market for a few years in one form or another. As with any technology, cloud services are taking their time emerging and are improving with each iteration. SNS Technologists – Brand Launch

It takes a Technologist to make IT second nature. From the beginning the primary mission of Second Nature Solutions revolved around making technology easier to use. To explain this concept I often open this discussion by challenging clients or staff to pick up their pen and write something on a piece of paper. I then follow this up by asking them to explain how they interacted with the “technology” of pen and paper - most of the time the response would quickly allude to the fact that the use of pen and paper is a “second nature” activity. No thought required on how to boot up the pen or get the paper to accept the ink. No challenges in choosing the correct font or deciding how to indicate emphasis using a complex command. Training to use pen and paper occurred early in life and for most of us the learning curve wasn’t too steep and so we quickly moved beyond the mechanics to focus on the content we could create with this skill.
